Arnold render view6/29/2023 ![]() Doesn't look like your scene is complex enough to really need anything other than the default settings. ![]() In the UV menu at the top of Maya, you can do the auto uv setting. 'The sheer amount of geo and assets that Arnold can handle has bettered the way we build our shots, and made any challenge that might have been impossible to. Autodesk Revit is a building information modelling software tool for architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, designers and contractors. (You can do this in the modeling tab, there's a button with a snow flake and 0,0,0). Arnold is an advanced Monte Carlo ray tracing renderer built for the demands of feature-length animation and visual effects. When you initially modeled it, did you scale it up? If so, zeroing out the scale back to 1 will help Maya make better assumptions about the textures. I'm assuming that what you're looking for is the ground texture that comes out as a flat color in the render? There are some things that could mess with the way Maya and arnold interpret your textures. It's the second number at the bottom of your render view x/x/x/x/x/x. High specular will give you a mirror, low will look very rough)ĭiffusion is just your base color/texture layer in the language of Arnold render. ![]() (Specular is basically how shiny and smooth something is. ![]() The weight of the coat can be modified to get whatever shine you may want. For example, leather may have a dull base surface, then you can add a coat layer with a stronger reflection to add a pinpoint of brighter reflection without making the entire material super shiny. A coat is a thin layer over your base texture that adds a color/reflection. Your screenshot is up now, so I can say that you don't have any coat on it, so no worries there.
